Quality Quick Release Strap for FZ5

I'm a new FZ5 owner looking for a quality quick release neck strap. I'm leaving next Friday for two weeks in Italy with my wife and would like to get a quality strap for my FZ5 ASAP.

In Fred's (fmoore) photos of his FZ5 and modified adapter on iShots http://www.ishots.net/fz5/modified_fz5_adapter.htm I noticed what looks exactly like what I'm looking for. I tried searching in the forums and on the web and couldn't find anything that looks like that strap/quick release mechanism. Fred?

But that looks like the release that came with the FZ10 and most likely the FZ1.
I agree that someone should be making the clip but I can not find one either.

As Gene surmised, that is an FZ1 strap. I prefer that over the FZ5 strap. Part #VFC3916; $14.78. Go to http://www.pasc.panasonic.com/epartr/ and type in dmc-fz1 for the model number. They have an 800 number. You might be able to expedite delivery by next Friday.

This brand is small and lightweight with a neoprene neck piece. The neck piece disconnects leaving two short ends that can be hooked together for a hand strap. I love it. Also cheap at about $9. If you have a local camera shop look for one similar--they all function about the same.

Thanks all for the help and information. I ordered the FZ-1 strap from Panasonic. They offer 2-day shipping which should get it to me in time, along with the MC protector.
