dell just move my order back

I got the email today. It was supposed to ship May 2 but now May 9th. If Best Buy had a black kit I would think about cancelling but I want the black so I will wait it out.

Order Black Canon XT on April 8. Estimate ship : May 11

Does anybody who order black XT body after April 8 get it ?

Just wonder on the time order to the time delivery.

My waiting time : 5 weeks (April 7 to May 11)
Anybody top this ?

Oh no! My estimated ship date is May 5th..(ordered Apr 8)...I bet they'll move mine back too. Problem is I'm getting my XT shipped to my friend in Boston to avoid sales tax. I live in FL, and my friend is meeting me in NJ weekend of the 13th...if he doesn't get it in time...not sure what to do!

kunchik, you will want to get this camera in your hands ASAP after Dell ships it, as their return policy is from the shipment date, not when you receive it.

If anything is wrong with the camera (happened twice to me with an XT from Dell), you need to return it quickly.

BTW, I am STILL waiting for my money back from Dell. I have returned the camera almost 4 weeks ago .... no refund to this point. You get what you pay for, I suppose .....

Was is kit or body only? I still haven't heard of anyone who ordered the Black Body on 4/8/05 and has already received it. Maybe you're the first?

Yep! After two order delays it is scheduled for shipping on 5/5/05. I'm not a betting man but I'd be willing to bet my next paycheck that on 5/5/05 I will be getting an email from dell saying that the order has been delayed even further.

It has already been several weeks and now they are saying another month. I think I'm just going to cancel and get somewhere else. The savings is nice, but I want to use it. Anyone know where the best price is now?

Ordered on 4-8 black kit..... just had the word from DELL backorder until
June 14th,,,
The phone support was the worst , couldnt give a reason , nothing
Ii cancelled the order....

Now it's delayed till May 12th. Is that real though? They can keep delaying like this for months.

Actually my friend (the one who's receiving the cam for me) is much more capable of testing it than me. I've never owned a DSLR, and he's the one who's really inspired me to get one.
