Waterski Photo

At the speeds they're going, 4' isn't that much space! The things
we won't do for art.
If someone was standing on the sidewalk, four feet from the road, do you think you could avoid hitting them with your car? You probably do it everyday.

A moderately competent skier can easily hit a 6" spot every time unless he or she is doing something that's right at the limit of their abilities. This guy looks as though he was just loafing.

Neat shots.

I'm a fairly avid water skier myself, and even though I'd probably be willing to stand there, it still has to make you a little nervous when someone's whipping within a few feet of you at those speeds (especially while holding some expensive camera gear in the water).

At any rate, those shots make me excited for summer and for getting out on the lake.

I don't understand these housings; how do you not get a bunch of water drops in the images? Is there some kind of special coating on the glass that make the water slide off? Sorry for my ignorance, but I've never even seen one of these housings (in person).
Was in the water about 4 feet away from the bouy. Used EWA Marine
housing. Worked well!

Saw a guy shooting from in the water at a wakeboarding event a couple of years back. Looked way too dangerous for me!
