WDYSPT? 1 May 2005

We hear these little tree toads singing all through the Spring and Summer but this is the first time we have seen one, about two-inches long, climb our patio window. The flash didn't perturb it at all.

Not! Only the usual touch-ups (levels, denoise, sharpening, etc.) were applied.

D7 IR, California State Capitol

The ghostly image at bottom is painted onto the walls and floor of the concrete walkway as part of art in goverment buildings. The IR photography just makes it easier to see. Until processing this shot, I thought it was random paint, like camouflage.

Hi to All,

Great shots everyone!

Here's a submission form me that I shot last Friday and just finished PPing from RAW to JPG.

It's a Laser Bridge over the Danube River in downtown Budapest, a kick-off for this last weekend when we celebrated the 1st anniversary of Hungary (among 10 other countries) joining the EU (European Union).

The green arrow on the pic below shows the location of that laser cannon used as a technical device to enhance the spectacular enjoyment of the show.

Pics from 1 year back are here:

Please enjoy! :-)

Hi,

Playing with my reversed lens and my flash (and some cropping in C1LE) I came up with those two. The orange cast on it's face is due to the orange clay (my daughter's clay) in which I stuck a needle. The fly was using the top of the needle to seat itself, after I kindly requested it to do so ;)

Took this one a couple of weeks ago and processed tonight. I was considering redoing it in Raw to get more detail when I noticed the homeless person's belongings stored on the opposite side of the bridge. Completely missed this detail when the shot was taken.

Coming home from Owen Sound, Ontario Canada. Some sites along the way. Just missed this Mama horse nuzzling her baby. . .talk about a photo op missed . . .

Much further south, in Ravenswood -- Ipperwash Beach
