new 20D????

Has anyone heard of a new 20D coming out later this year???....

Maybe a 30D or 40D, or even Canon "20D xt" Or "20D Mark II" but never again will Canon release a EOS 20D.

There is a 20Da that is for astronomy. That's all i've heard.

As others have pointed out, there isn't going to be a "new 20D".

But you can be assured that there will be something new, sometime.

If you eternally wait for the "new whatever", you'll never own a camera.

Not this year. Check back in 2006. First of all, there isn't a whole lot that the 20D needs at this point. Secondly, there isn't a whole lot of competition for it at this point either. Nikon's still peddling their ancient D100 against the 20D. And thirdly, it's way too early for a replacement. By early next year, the 20D will have been on the market for about a year and a half, which is generally how long Canon waits before bringing out a replacement.
