I like the CSLR team but feel right at home here and it won't be the same without you two. I've been a bit more busy with work the past few months and sometimes keeping up with and also posting and commenting here can feel a bit overwhelming since I feel obligated to post and really enjoy doing so. So maybe you just need a short breather from it all? and come back with a fresh mind. In two weeks it will be a year since I've joined up and counted that I've only missed posting in two challenges. You and Don are one those photographers I highly admire and looked up to from the beginning. So it's very sad to see you go.
 
Hi Nugar. Thanks for the tip about the metering mode. I've been shooting mostly still life without a flash so I haven't experimented much there. But am now reading the manual over again from start to finish for the 2nd time.
 
I was wondering if that was deliberately set that way or someone just experimented?
 
Looks like my challenge is falling apart. The gallery was fine half an hour ago but i can't get to it either and the normal password doesn't work. I noticed some odd things with the comments this morning as the format to enter them had changed, hopefully this is just a temporary bug.

we have somebody tampering with the galleries in much the same way(and i just hate to raise the issue again) the votes have been tampered with in the past.

In reflection it could be a good idea to apply for a password to enter the galleries and to vote?
Just my thoughts.
 
Under the password section there are alot of options, maybe Pops or an adim should check into these to make sure they are set right.

If you look at the password settings for this challenge, and look at other challenges, this ones not the same, password seems to be set.

I could be wrong, check it out for yourselfs
