The new picturemate E-200(JAPAN)

Hi EJS,

Thanks for the new.

Can you explain us the features of the new Epson CRISPIA photo paper? (I can't read japanese like a lot of us)

Thanks

Any news on when it will be in U.S. Looks like it has a color lcd for viewing prints. I'm thinkin of buying the Hi-Touch 730ps but the epson e200 would work if it has picture viewing lcd.

--I just bought myself the Picturemate. Love it, but would have loved an LCD better. Maybe the new one will be a lot more money than what I paid for mine, might make me feel a little better.

Besides the LCD the use of a lithium ion battery for portability might be of interest for onsite printing.Specs say 90 minutes for 60 prints 3 1/2 x 5(Japanese L size).

The 2pl drop size is on a computer using the RPM setting.Direct from card or camera it's 3pl and 1440dpi

It's true. The new picturemate is coming the US sooner than later.

I'm working at CompUSA and in their system it has:

Picturemate Deluxe

MSRP 249.99

Sounds like a great little printer and I'm glad it will be here soon. I' m torn between it at $250 and the Hi-Touch 730ps at $280 after rebate, any opinions out there. Al

Will it use the same paper/ink set?
