My wWife, Mary, is back in the hospital via the ER last night. She should be operated on tomorrow. They think it's an intestinal blockage. Took these in the morning, before she started feeling bad.

They look good and quite sharp, even with the TC 1.4.

This guy gives me the creeps by the way:

He looks a bit like the gangsta of the 'hood you know ;)

Cheers

Send some fine weather to the Netherlands please ;)

Harris,

Sorry to hear that your wife is going to have surgery. Hope all goes well and that she recovers swiftly.

And I'm happy to see someone has the guts to post bird photos on DPR. I've been intimidated by the anti-bird reactions here.

Your pictures are stunning (as usual) I have always enjoy the "birdie" pictures and started to take my own .... unfortunately up here in MA city only the sparrows and gulls are posing..... with ducks and geese...

so sorry to hear about your wife ..... I hope all will be okay . .... the two of you will be in my thoughts

I hope they get to the bottom of this. Your wife was a sweetheart to allow us to stay at your home back in february and Jeannie and I will surely keep her in our thoughts.

The shots are nice by the way..

Let us know how she's doing.

thanks so much. I am so worried about her. I am sort of glad that they will operate now, as I hope they find the problem and fix it.

As for folks that dont like bird photos, they can kiss my @ss or talk to the beak:

thanks so much for the kind words and sentiment. Post some of the sparrows and gulls, and ducks and geese. I never get to shoot them.

Just wanted to say hello and tell you those are some nice looking shots. I hope everything goes okay with your wife and she is feeling better and home soon.

When things slow down a little tell me how you got Capture reloaded. Someone form the Cafe told me you had trouble when you first tried after the harddrives went south on you. I'm trying to get it on a new computer, but my only work around I have found so far needs a different product code then the one that came with Capture 4.0, seems 4.2 is an alphanumeric code.

I installed NC4, then upgraded to NC4.13 in steps. Once there, rebooted in safe mode, put in my code to register it. Then upgraded to NC4.2 and was able to start in regular windows after that. The key to this is to upgrade to 4.13, then unlock it in the safe mode, then upgrade to 4.2 and you can then start it in regular windows.

My wife and my thoughts and prayers are also with you and your wife, wishing her a speedy recovery. Take care of her Harris. Thats the beauty of photography, the pictures will still be there when she gets well.
