I have had a problem with my 995. When I turn it on I can pull up the flower on the main LCD screen. It will turn yellow when zoomed right and picture comes out great. Problem is when I go to take next shot the flower is gone from the main lcd and only on the little lcd on top. If I turn the camera off and then back on the flower will come back on the main LCD. Am I doing something wrong,or are other 995 users experiencing this? Otherwise the camera takes great pictures!!!Jerry

Does anybody have this problem or know what I am doing wrong?

Hi Jerry,

I'm not experiencing this with my 995 - either in P-, S- or A-mode. I can take as many macros as I like and the yellow flower stays in both LCD's

Mine doesn't do this; the flower stays there for the next picture. I can't think of anything you could be doing to cause this (except for pushing the monitor button, which I assume you're not).

Do you recall setting it on self-timer (countdown) for the shutter release?

What happens with my 995 when I take photos using the self-timer, is it will cancel the mode altogether after taking the picture. In order for me to get back to macro, I've got to press the 'mode' button.

Not sure if this is a normal occurence but it doesn't bother me a bit.

Tony you may have hit it. I might have hit the self timer by accident. That makes sense. I do have to hit the mode to get back to macro. Must be another glitch they can work on.
