1800mah battery for 20d

I bought two of these ... it's a sweet deal. They hold a charge longer than the Canon betteries. The question is, what is their lifespan. Well, at this price ... who cares? Even if the lifespan is half that of a genuine Canon one (which I doubt), you still win because they's half the cost.

I have used the 1800mah battery from SterlingTek ( I think thats the name) from E-bay for about $15.00. Initially it didnt start the camera but that might have been operator error!! Working fine ever since; about 5 weeks and charges and works fine...

do you guys know if these guys give you the lids for the batteries??

Are you referring to the bottom case that comes with the Canon battery to clamp on to tell if its charged or not.. no just the battery from Sterling Tek.. and probably just the battery from all aftermarket mfgs...

I just ordered a 2-pack. Should be here sometime next week.

Thanks,

I'm looking for a new battery for my 20d was just wondering if
anyone has tried the 1800mah batteries from

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7505805544&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

These are the largest I've found but I was wondering if it's for
real? all the others I've seen are 1500mah and below, can anyone
comment on these batteries.

Thanks.

No no I'm not talking about these guys I'm talking about another sale I have on ebay.

Came sooner than I thought they would. I must say, Sterlingtec.com gave extremely fast service sending these out. I ordered them Monday night, they shipped them tuesday and I received them on Wednesday. I have both of them charged and they are working pine in my 20D.

Just thought I would share my experience with Sterlingtec.com,

Russell

See profile for gear.

but it doesn't say that they are 1800mah on the battery or anywhere for that matter. I bought mine from ebay, you guys think that these batteries might not be 1800mah?

Is there some way to measure them?

I would like to order these, but am worried about the quality

on those third party batteries. I wouldn't pay too much attention to that. I use the sterlingtek batteries with no problem at all. I have had very little luck with the ebay batteries. They usually die in a few months.
