Lets see your selfportrait

Wow. Does that ring really go through your upper lip AND through your nose?

Interesting shots.

How'd you do them?

I feel I'll be thread crapping if I reply to every self portrait to make comments, so I won't.

But I just wanted to say to everyone that have participated (and will participate), that I really appreciate this, and you guys have so much fantasy and fun ideas for different self portraits.

So not only do I get to see who you are, but I also get lots of fun ideas to play with for the next selfportrait.

Thank you all! And keep posting fun selfportraits!!! :-)

This was taken in February of 2003 while I was dog sledding in New Hampshire. The high this day was 10F below zero and when I took this picture it was probably about 20F below. Wind chills were probably 50 - 60F below zero. And belive it or not I was having a good time!!

Gayle,

You know what ? A famous french actress is almost your perfect
twin. Her name is Josiane Balasko if you want to get more infos
about her. Here is one of her photos :

Very similar face, haircut, even the glasses (at least from the one
photo I've seen of you).

Or maybe you ARE her and try to stay anonymous on this forum ;o)

All the best,
Erick

Yeah... I like how you took out all of your extra chins for your self-portrait here, Gayle. :)

no, it's just a nose ring...

For all of the effects on the pictures, I used Picassa from Google. That simple little program is a blast.

As for taking the pictures... for most of them, I either held the camera at arm's length or used that $20 Canon remote (I forget the model number).
