I have just purchased my 7D and it has the old firmware. I have searched the K/M site and cannot locate the info on the upgrade ie konicaminolta.com.au As you can see My location is in West Aussie. Any help regarding this and advice on the upgrade would be most appreciated. I have also searched this forum. Thank You
 
It should be an easy upgrade if you read the link with the instructions and make sure you're using a fully charged battery or AC connection, format your CF card in the camera (if that's compatible with your PC), and just follow the instructions. Best of luck.

My dear kingarthur,

I just done the upgrade tonight and it went without a problem(thanks to my wife). No lockup or any other problem sofar.
