How does the 350 feel with a larger lens such as a 300mm? Is it
balanced well? Is there a fair amount of room between your right
fingers and lens mount?
As long as you hold by the lens barrel, there is no problem with large lenses.

Impressive set up. Thanks.

Will be taking the plunge to purchase the XT but have not had the chance to demo with a larger lens yet.

I am not sure about larger lenses. The 70-300 DO lens is very compact! I would say it is about the same size as the 17-85mm! I didn't find any problem with any of these lenses that I have tried.

However, the length of the 70-300 and 18-200, when fully extended, can be quite long especially the 18-200!

Thanks!

I thought your 17-35 samples are quite good, why are you not impressed with any of them? Zoom range too short?

Have you got the 18-50 F2.8 yet? I am also interested in this lens for its constant F2.8.
I shot some with three different lenses these past few days.

10-22
28-70 and
17-35

Lots of 17-35 shots coming here

Neither caught my fancy.

I'll get the 18-50 2.8 and will stick to it.
