G6 - Afternoon moon & some pictures*

This afternoon around 4PM got these shots while waiting for the school bus

I noticed the moon in the sky - the calm before the rainy days ahead
shot in the RAW, Av 8.0 and pp in PE3



Then noticed my daffadils finally bloomed :)





and my favorite cat 'Boots' who didn't care if I was there taking pictures

Hi Sue anne.Very nice pic's your cat is cool.The picture with moon when

i see the moon like in your pic.Im always amazed the think we have landed on it back in 1969 wow i was only 29 back then lol.it sure doesn't seem that long ago.As always your pictures are just great cheers Bob.

Boots is a very hard cat to take pictures, always on the move and then when I'm out, she keeps coming to see if I have food or be petted. Plus I think black cats are harder to take pictures of.

Hi Sue Anne ! I like numbers 1 and 4 I never have much luck capturing the moon,daytime or at night,you did good !

I haven't much luck capturing the moon at night so when I saw this opportunity in the afternoon, I shot a few in RAW and JPEG. Plus I didn't know what to really aim- for the trees or the moon. So its sort of luck and RAW was easier to process.

Get ready for the Rain Bill, its going to be a wet rest of the week :))))

Great shots. Love the daffodil pictures. Can't wait to see some here in MA. Can't find them under the snow.

The moon shot was like a hit or miss, the moon was sort of blending in like the clouds - faint. RAW is great for those one in lifetime shots. - PP is easier as I get used to it.

--As always, nice pictures. The kitty looked so cute and the flowers shure turned out sharp. BTW, are all those buldings in the background yours?

Keep in mind I live in California and we are in total awe of property larger than a 10,000sq. ft. lot. It looks so spacious-awesome! Lucky you.

Those building are actually our new neighbor that bought our 13 acre land across the street - he already built his dream garage and his dream house (should be done by Summer) He's a self builder as you can see.

We still live in an ole farmhouse that stayed in the generations that my hubby bought from his parents ~ 10 years ago :)

1st cat shot is excellent. The picture is so lifelike that you swear the animal is breathing.

Liked the first pix! Yes, you're right, it's not often that we see the moon during daylight and you got it! :) Ahhh, seeing those flowers made me jealous because four of my 'baby' tulips had died due to crazy weather! Arghh! 'sniffle, sniffle'

Hurry up spring! :)

Taking pictures is fun and everyonce in a while I get a real keeper. Those I pp in PE3. Learning RAW is fun which I take occasionally.

G6 is really like a step up from my A80 and more.

hope to see some pictures from you too.
