BH: order still processing after 10 days

I placed a order at BH on march 12th and status still displays as "processing". I called them several times and they keep telling me that everything is alright and i just have to wait.

I have bought from them before and they gave me a estimate delivery time of 30-40 days (brazil special). I got the product in perfect conditions within that time. The only difference being that they shipped it right after my purchase.
Anyone experienced a similar situation? What's exactly going on?

You don't say what you ordered. Perhaps they're still waiting for it. I'm sure they'd be delighted to get paid, as they probably don't charge until the shipping date..

That's not always true, and from what I've read here, B&H will charge immediately upon order for many items.

I expect 'henryp' will eventually reply to this thread. But you know, you could actually try to contact them before that. Have you? Did they give you a reason?

Of course i ordered something. I just don't think it is relevant for everyone else to know. Also, AS YOU CAN READ on my first post:

I am just curious about similar experiences.

You don't say what you ordered. Perhaps they're still waiting for

Well, while you are telling us that we can't read your message, how about you read his? He was suggesting that WHAT you ordered could be relevant. Like, an item tagged "Out of stock" or "Available to order" which takes extra lead time.

Or perhaps they need to go through additional steps for your country, in the face of past frauds or problems that aren't related to your order.

Chill, guy. Don't take your frustration out on us.

This order is being shipped to Brazil. The manager of our Baziil Order Dept will contact this customer directly via e-mail.

I am. I'm just curious about what is going on. Item says "in stock". They everything is alright. Why don't they just ship it? :-/

I wish this delay is not caused by the "Fire accident" happened few weeks ago....

I've been wanting a specific lens that came in stock this morning and I ordered it at 8:30 this morning. I'm going to the U.S. in a month and it will be waiting for me. But, I was shocked when I got an email at 5:30 saying it had been shipped. I have to say, I've had limited experience with B&H but they've been outstanding.

Never had a problem w/them in the past.

15 years as a freelancer,(news,magazine, wedding photography) camera equip. over the years: Practica MLT, Canon A1, Minolta 9xi, 7xi, Dimage Z1(see my Z1 shots at http://www.photobucket.com ALBUM NAME: buckl the COMMUNITY album was done with the Z1, and most of the photos in the album:Other were w/the Z1)
 
... with holidays coming up, it will probably get to 15 days before shipment.

They said a ton of stuff is being shipped and that the delay is because brazilian tax folks (:-P).
Dunno if Henry P is responsible for the answer but thanks anyway! :-)
