I have noticed quite a few people posting images that are located on the pbase.com website... I have been looking for a good place to store my digital photos, is pbase a good place to use? Does anyone have other suggestions where I can go? I am sure most of these questions have been asked and answered before and I appologize for asking again if so.

Thanks,

I use and love pbase for posting my photos online. I used to use Photopoint but didn't like all the flashing banners and commercial appearance and the way they they compressed my images so much. I certainly did not want to pay for this type of hosting. Pbase lets you create a very professional looking, personal photo site. One word though. Pbase is free to try but is a shareware site and is run and maintained by one guy who provides this service on his own time with his own equiptment and is always there on his chat site to offer any help at all. If you use Pbase and like it please help support it as this is a very unique service I would like to have around for a long time. No, I'm not related or anything, I just feel this site is worth a donation for using.

I just started using pbase and seems to give you a lot of flexability. I like the uploading of zipped archives, makes uploading fast and automatically opens all photos in your zipped file. Would be nice to have a search mode that searched on various user profiles (city, or camera used...). Would be nice to easily pull up gallaries that are taken with the C2100 (or others for those who may not be UZI junkies).

Thank you all for your help. I have decided to try pbase and I have already uploaded a few of my latest pictures. Please feel free to drop by and check it out. I have only had my camera (Oly 3040z) for a few weeks now so my pictures might not be the best but they are a work in progress. Any and all suggestions and comments will be appreciated.
