I took this picture out in my back garden. I am new to photography and would appreciate input as to how I can make this pic better.

The only improvement would be to get it to show it's teeth, with balloon caption saying: "if you don't get that lens out of my face, I'll show you where the dinosaurs are now!". Seriously, though, it's a really nice shot!

The shot has a lot of personality, which is the key thing. The only improvement I can suggest is to try simply cropping the right empty area

(Isn't that a chameleon?)

I love that shot! Crisp focus too! The only improvement I might consider is getting the leaf out of the background (assuming a similar opportunity arises). Oh and just for correctness, it's not a Gecko or a Chameloeon, it's an Anole. Keep up the good work!
