Motor noise for 950

I am still playing and trying to figure out all the options. But while in A-REC or M-REC mode I noticed noise and vibration from the lense half of the 950. It is pretty loud, sort of grinding sometimes. Is this happening to your 950 or do I have a defect? Sounds like it is the autofocus going on in there. But it is really annoyingly loud especially when the lense if pointing at nearby objects. Any wisdom on this?

Mine does the same...a bit louder than my 900. Also it searches more than the 900.
