I received notice with a Fedex tracking number that it's shipped the same day. (I ordered about 2:30pm, methinks.)I ordered the 20d kit earlier today from them. Through the
DPreview link, of course.
Unless there is an obvious defect in the product that they can
verify, it sounds like the 10% restocking fee applies for everthing
except a straight across exchange.
Also I emailed them a question about my order vs. wishing I had
ordered the 20D plus kit lens (Stupid me realized after shipping
that they were the same price). Anyway, they never returned an
email, so I'm a bit leary what the return process would be like...
I ordered the TAMRON 28-75MM F/2.8 lens from them yesterday
expecting to receive it at the end of the week since I went with
the standard ground shipping. Well, they sent me a Shipping
confirmation email with a tracking number last evening and guess
what? It has gotten here overnight from NJ to CA and is on the
Fedex truck to be delivered to me this morning. NOW that's
Customer Service.
I should have bought my 20d from them in the first place!
