Well, the new MZ-S just arrived and I feel like I can start a new group - Camera Body Addict (CBA) club. I am now an proud owner of:

*istD
*ist
PZ-1P
MZ-S
and a K-1000 (if I count my daughter's)

If Matt keeps posting pictures of his Sigma 100 - 300 EX, I may have to buy one and I think that will qualify me for the LBA club, if it is still taking members.

The funny thing about all this is, when I got back into photography, I used to wish I had the "right" lens or other piece of equipment to get a specific shot. Now that I have a good assortment, I suspect I will wish I "had brought the OTHER lens". :-)

Would I qualify with this?
1x *ist-D
2x PZ-1
2x MX

Some other weird non-Pentax stuff I'm not sure what they are...

OK, I didn't found LBA and I'm not on the board, but I think it's safe to say that we don't deny anyone. Everybody's welcome to join us! :)

Umm, excuse me for 5 minutes, I'll be counting my M42 bodies ;)

Slightly off topic: Could I use my M42 lenses on a recent Pentax film body? I suppose so, but maybe with more limitations as on my *ist DS.
I did a quick google and did not find much.
Any pointers?

Nice cameras around here certainly! Must be the Pentax forum... ;)

I feel that I should be vice-president with:

MX
K-1000 x 2
SP-1000
645 x 2
ZX-50
ZX-60
*istD x 2
EI-200

Plus enough lenses that I can't say, lest my wife read this some day.

I bought one of the first *istD's sold in Canada, I bought the second body when my first body went to the sick camera hospital for a month (couldn't stand to be without one that long,) bought one of the first black 77 Limited in Canada and had the first magazine cover ever published shot on an *istD.

Plus, I get to see some of my collection appear in majour motion pictures and made-for-TV movies. (The name is taped out though unless they get clearance from Pentax.)

(The SAD part? I still can't get Pentax to respond to my email requests about my lens being repaired!)
