I seen a lot of beautiful picture from the s3

Here's a link to my new s3 pro
http://www.jabezvp.com/gallery/431523
70-200vr with sb800 flash

My picture looks very dull when I print it out...
How can I get to look good...professional quality?

I got the s3...sb8000...vr70-200...What other equiptment do you think i need? Better flash?

How can I make the quality of my picture to look like this?

What do I need? better lense? Light?

none of the above

you need better processing in software or use the F2 option for the high contrast, flattering skin tones you like

if you prefer to process your images go with the Adobe RGB color space ...if you want out of camera pizazz go sRBG and F2

Personally, I would rather see the color saturation and contrast found in your S3 pictures to those in the example you would like to duplicate! The colors in the sample that you wish to obtain are garish, and the contrast is unattractive. Yours look MUCH better!

John,

I played around with the "17319136-L.jpg", and if you look at your Levels, you see there aren't any pure shadows. Get that left slider to the foot of the mountain. The easiest way to punch up a shot like this is to hit Auto Levels, and that will fill in the low end. You can get more elaborate by selective or localized manipulation, like dodging and what-not, but what you are seeking depends on your PS experience and how the left brain translates into right-brain action, if that makes sense.

Photoshop is great because there are 50 ways to do the same thing, depending on how your mind works. Go ahead and experiment, I wish I had your camera!
