Thanks you all for posting such wonderful colors! I have looked at all the colors and now my eyes are "saturated". I will now go to stare at the inside covers of my National Geographic Photography Field Guide and soak in 18% gray! LOL! BTW, for those of you who don't own this book yet...GET IT...it's only about $20 - $24 at bookstores! It makes very good reading!! ;-)

I don't know about Ofoto pictures, but I found a roundabout solution for embedding IMIRA images. Apparently, to embed a photo, the url address must end with ".jpg" IMIRA's do not. So I just added ".jpg" to the end of the url and it worked. Maybe the same will work for Ofoto.
I am still working on finding out how to paste my Ofoto address
into a message, but try my G1 album at Ofoto. It should be under
Bill Prosser or prosserwm@aol. Check out Natl. Cathedral Columns.

I normally never post...but gee...I sure love colors!!

Do you have any very colorful photos to share?? ;-)

I almost sold my G1 a few months ago to buy a D30 but decided to keep it as it has always "wow" me with some the pictures that it takes (the camera is far from being perfect but if you know how to work around it's limitations it can produce some awesome pictures IMHO). Also when I finally get the D30, I can use most of the accessories that I've bought for the G1 (420ex,550ex,ST-E2,Microdrive and batteries) ;p

One last picture for this thread... this one I took last night.

Hi Jeff,
Funny story! Saving for a D30, eh! I wish I could afford
one...maybe someday!

Hi William,

These photos are great! I can't imagine all the preparation it took to set these tables up! Makes me very hungry!!

nabau,

I did check the link and it worked for me. I clicked the one below, which is identical to the one I checked and it does not work. I am sorry and I do not know how to correct it.

Bill
Check out my album, particularly first picture. Thanks for sharing
your images.

nahau,

I tried to look up your email address, but it said I have to be signed in to see it. I can find no where where I sign in? Would you please give me your email address and I will send you the link to my album? Thanks. I am very frustrated by not being able to copy links and other material into these postings. I am not sure what is wrong. When I type it in it looks the same, but apparently doesn't work, as you saw.

Bill,

You will need to register to post images here. Respond to this message, and look below the respond window where you would normally write your response. There you will see a link that looks like this> > > +Help/Suggestions

Click on it and some text will expand. In the "Using your password" line, click on the yellow link "registered". It will take you to a page where you can register yourself.

After you are done registering, go back to the photosite where the photo you want to post here resides. Open the photo and copy the link, then post it here in a the reply. Try this and see if it works...if it doesn't , reply to this message and we will try to see if we can figure out futher what is going on.

I would give you my email, but that would only fix things for this post. I would much rather fix the problem itself. You have been here for 9 months and we "really" need to fix this, don't you think!
YOU NEED TO REGISTER FIRST.

Hi Bill,

I have seen Ofoto postings here before. I don't know what you are doing differently. Could you post a link to your album page? Is this album password secured? Once you get to the page, just copy the address as shown at the top of the Internet Explorer page, of Netscape page if you are using that and post it here.

Hi brian,

Yes, I haven't seen you here recently. I too dropped away for a while...just a short time after "you know who" was causing so much trouble with Pekka and all. I just got fed up with all the complaining about the G1. Anyway, things are better now it seems. There are a lot of new people, and not as much complaining...although I'm sure that will change again. ;-)

Your photo didn't post, so I went to view your Bahama's album at the Samples forum. Great shot of the Hibiscus! Did you know it's the Hawaii state flower? ;-). Also the ocean there looked so nice, and blue, and clean...just like Hawaii...however, being the fisherman that I am, I would have been in "front" of those angles trying to catch some fish! LOL!
Anyway, nice to hear from you again. Take care.
