ok guys,
ive been fighting this for 4 months now.
looked at too many cameras.
im lookin for a camera that is between $250 - $320..

I will be using this for art. Editin for graphics printing and web graphics. Along with personal pictures for memories and all that jazz. I used to go to art college. We had the nikon coolpix 5400. I thought it was nice. im lookin for somethin round 4megapixels and up. i prefer the brands canon, sony, and nikon, but if you can justify what is best im open!! someone told me the fuji s5500. i need some help please!

i want crisp clear and quick photo takin with ease. manual options are good. one with good lightin response. lithium battery i hear is the best. but i dont know all that.
can you help??
thank you all!!

I wasnt sure if it would be a good choice since it so old. if fig the technology would make a crisper 5megapixel camera. waht you think?

For a longzoom the Fugi 5100/5500 is great, sharper pics, less pic, & video noise, better, faster, low light focusing,(with it's AF assist light), with faster shot, to shot times, then it's competitors. Plus, unlimited good video, depending on XD card size. The best "Bang for the Buck" out there!,,, Possibly only a Panasonic is better, but not in video, or ergonomics. Checkout my album, no post processing used here either. This camera does it all, indoor/outdoor, long shot/closeup. Good Luck, Mike

I have just purchased the S5100. Was just delivered today. I have not yet seen it but my wife was hoem when ups arrived. I did try out the camera for about a week. I was comparing it to the Kodak DX6490. I went with the fuji because it just felt great to hold and there is almost no delay between shots. I have a bunch of photos I took with it when I had it almost 100. email me if you would like to see any,=.
