I love this camera. I had a S100 too, but the colors are more accurate with the S110. I put the S100 on ebay and I'm having a ball.

There's a little red-eye in some of the photos, but I doubt that thought was crossing your mind at the time you took the pictures.

Honestly, very interesting subject matter. But why did you bother wasting the space on your CF card for photos of FIREWORKS. C'mon!! =)

Ya' know.. the pictures did come out very nice, but it woudl be good RESEARCH if you compared the photo's taken w/ the S110 to those taken with an S300 - and what a coincidence.. I happen to have an S300 willing to go and be part of your test... Its a very moodyt camera, and for some reason, it works best when its in my hands, so if you'd like to do the test, I'd probably ne requred to go so that the image quality is best.. I wouldn't do this for just anyone, but for you - I would..

In a situation like this, you can't afford to miss shots. Some of the shots are blurred. Are these the better shots and that you've not posted the blurred shots? I find alot of my s110 shots are blurred thanks to handshake and focusing problems. Especially when someone else is taking it. Sometimes they have a finger in front of the focus lamp or the flash. You do have a pretty good shot of arms stretched self-portrait with a arm candy though.

To a previous poster, a G1 would make you look like a serious paparrazi. At least with a s110, it is more candid and besides it is faster shot to shot.

I’m a consultant and some of my clients have good connections. I actually took my Nikon 880 to the Playboy Mansion once. The problem is that no one else can operate that camera, even in full auto mode. The fact that it does not have a focus assist lamp is a killer. The S110 is much easier for the layman, but your right, people put their fingers in front of the focus lamp or flash. Oh well!

These are the photos from the Mansion with my Nikon 880. Howard Stern was broadcasting from there that night.

I have to admit, after using photoshop for over 10 years now, you are very good with your technique.

Bottom Line......Canon advocates..........don't buy into this guys hype!

Damn. That is very good photoshop work. Had me fooled and I know photoshop really well. I should have taken a better look at the pics but I have to admit I was too busy checking out the girls in the pics. I agree with you guys that this character has too much time on his hands and should apply for a job at a print shop or service bureau.

The thread is great. I can't believe how many people are finding fakery where none exists. That is amazing itself. If someone lives in Los Angeles and really puts their mind to it, you can get a ticket to anything.

I think that Heff is hiding something behind his back, maybe a non-Canon camera or something, and that is why we can't see his left arm. It doesn't necessarily mean that the photo was doctored... I wish that these had been taken with G1, then we would have more detail
