I just wonder if anybody has actually used this software out of the S20Pro box and if they think more of it than I do ?

Frankly I think the whole thing is a complete waste of time and space. It is extremely poor to say the least and so far as my own thoughts are concerned, be they agrreable or otherwise with thougts of others, Fuji may as well have saved space in the box !

Personally I find the prof S7RAW does a better job ...AND is stated specifically usable with quite a number of other Fuji cameras , not just the S20 and S2Pro that Hyper.. states in that product.

Good Heavens...what a let-down...and MORE I'd think, if you actually PAID the £130 that Fuji tell you it costs to buy ....bunkum !

Just a personal thought being expressed, but come on Fuji ...this is not up to your standard.

My thoughts exactly !

I agree that the Fuji software has a horrible UI and is intolerably slow, but unfortunately, I've found in the end it produces much better results than the alternative available to me, which is Adobe's Camera Raw. When I open the S20Pro images in Camera Raw, the noise is horrible. But, when opened in Hyper-S v2, they're crystal clear. I'm just guessing that Adobe has not correctly implemented the conversion of the separate S and R pixels. Or, perhaps I need to upgrade to 2.4.

Anyway, I"m wondering if you've compared the image quality between Hyper-S v2 and S7RAW and noticed any significant differences.

Also, I'm wondering if anyone out there has noticed the same problem I have with Camera Raw and S20Pro conversion.

Thanks,
Ben

OK, never mind. I see this issue has been addressed elsewhere and I'm not the only one with noise problems in Camera Raw. Still hoping the upgrade to 2.4 might help. If not, it looks like S7RAW is the way to go.
