Kyocera/Yashica Finecam S3 photos posted

Had a look at your photos. Seem better than mine. My camera is seiously overexposing pictures both with and without flash. Should get the new one tomorrow and hope to get better results.

These are all taken in SuperFine JPEG mode, and all are the raw
deal - there were some Save As as a result of rotating them --
something that you can do onboard the camera.

Well it's me again.

Went to see those nice people at Kyocera UK and they gave me a new camera. They were genuinely interested in my issues and extremely keen to ensure that I was happy with the new unit. This one is great and although I still have some reservations on flexibility I haven't seen better quality pictures for the price and size.

One other point. I asked about battery times. They said that the battery will not reach optimum performance until it has been fully discharged and re-charged approx 5 times.

Hi Paul,

Where in the UK did you buy it from?

Chris.

Hello!

To be honest, I'd say the colors are good, but resolution is not better than with good 2.1MP class cameras like the Ixus v (S110).
