Hi Guys
I am one happy camper, i got it at Laplante in Laval ,i was the first on their list and apparently all that they received this morning is already sold.
So im sitting in my office with a D2x with no lens and cf card but it feels good anyway

I actually met Yves at Laplante an hour or so ago , i have a feeling that he should be getting some good action soon
Im gonna try to post as soon as i can figure out how to make those noisy high iso shots the trolls have been posting

I called again and still no cameras. It's incredible that they didn't get one today, being the largest Nikon dealer in Quebec. So Monday earliest it is now. Not very likely that they'll get any tonight
The way the "Service a la clientele" talks about the D2x, I'm not even sure they'll get them next week !
I guess I should have known, big stores are always last.
(But they have such a good price for it ! and it's closer to home anyways)

So sorry to hear that Marco ,im sure they will have them by Monday at the latest it has to be a transport company screw-up.
If it is any consolation ,let me say you will not be dissapointed ,so far i am very very impressed by the camera ,i loved my D100 but it is a huge step up . Almost like going from a VW Jetta to a Boxter

Thanks for being so supportive. The reason I wanted it so much was to try it in a shooting on saturday. oh well, too bad, I'll try it on the next shoot !
