I was just wondering if anyone knew what the best setting to put the casio qv3000ex into for taking pics of fireworks. If anyone has any experience or knowledge about this please let me know.

Thanks

Todd,

According to the Best Shot scene list that came with my 3500EX, it uses the following:

Small aperture, slow shutter speed, infinity focus, daylight white balance. It also suggests the use of a tripod.

I'm going to try it on July 4th. Good luck!

The timing seems to be the problem. If you shoot at 2 seconds,
you can get a burst in the air all the way thru until it burns out.
If you shoot at 4, you can get one of the lower burst from the
ground up. 6 seconds gives you a good coverage for the taller
ones, but you have to pull way back on the zoom. This one was
shot two days ago with a G-1. It was at four seconds, but I was
zoomed a little close.
