Would someone be kind enough to explain to a complete novice, why my 995 shuts down after 30 seconds of inactivity. I guessing this is some kind of standby mode to save battery juice, but I cannot find a detailed explaination in the manual. If it is normal standby, what do you push to restore control panel & monitor function? Is there a way to increase the amount of time it stays on. While I'm setting up a shot, it keeps shutting down, my battery is fully charged. Thanks in advance.

Hi Cory:

I don't have a 995 but this is a selectable item, read your manual and i'm sure you will find out all about it.

Lightly press the shutter release button to bring camera back to life.
The time to power off can be set in "Auto Off" menu selection.
(See Auto Power Off in the index.)
