Anyone know Japanese? I can almost get through the order process using Babelfish, but not quite.

Not an LCD hood/viewer. A Flare hood for the lens of the F505v. See Ulysses post.

They won't ship outside of Japan. Someone said they saw it in a shop in Singapore for about $50 (US)

You running win98 or something close?

Go to http://windowsupdate.com

It will non-invasively examine your machine, and from there you can download language converters (Japanese is one that they have) for your browser.
