Hi y'all,
Just flew in from Florida (and boy are my arms tired)

The task ahead of me... I snapped the shutter on the A1 some 1480 times (more really but I deleted some plus a hand full with the old Nikon 990)

In any case now I need to go through all these pictures and clone out all the people in the backgrounds so it looks like we had the place to ourselves

That busy???? We will be there in May and cant wait. I hear that there are some new rides and shows opening soon. Be sure and share some pics!

Marc, What a great job of cloning! Not an easy area to do so, especially between your son and the "other" tourist. Well done.
Regards, Jim

Look at the flower above his head, it's in different locations.

LOL, very well done, I would have been fooled as well if it wasn't for PDM.

If you look closely, even the wrinkles on the boy's t-shirt is somewhat different between the two pictures. LOL

...Marc added in a brick column on the left.
THe old game from when I was a kid.. what is different between the 2 photos.?

This hits home Marc. We make a family trip to Disney every year or two, and you would think that we were the only ones there looking at my wife's pictures. She goes to great lengths to exclude other people from her shots.

The best was an early breakfast at Epcot. The breakfast was in the Norway area and it started before the park officially opened. We were able to shoot a couple dozen images on the way (in areas that were usually VERY crowded) that amazed our friends and family ;-)

Looking forward to seeing more!

Scott

So, how did you get the image with only background in the frame, but could not get your son there with nothing else but the background?

Just curious.

The images were just a fluke. I was taking a picture of my son. As I took the picture all these people walked by. I told him to let me take another, the people cleared and I snapped. He (being bored with my constant request for another shot) decide to not move. When I reviewed the pictures I saw that his stance was the same in both.

No real magic...

Scott,

we went to the "Princess' breakfast" as well and I grabbed a few shots along the walk to "Norway" too. I also liked waiting until after the fireworks at Epcot to grab some night shots with no one around.

Hopefully, by this time next week I'll be ready to post most of what I shot.

Hi Marc,

I love Disney - been there more times than I can remember. I'm looking forward to seeing your pics (the real ones), I'm sure they're great.

What did you use to store all those pics?

OK, man, I didn't think it possible that your son would have that exact a pose from one shot to the next. That is uncanny.

Bill,

In anticipation of this trip, I upgraded my wifes laptop with a 30 gig hard drive (should have gone bigger). I brought with me a usb cf reader to unload. and purchased a USB-TO-USB cable to off load to my desk top upon return.

I had a 1Gb and 512 Mb cards with me. most days we'd hit the room midday for a break, so I took the opportunity to unload the cards. Only once did I get close to running out of card.
