Warranty on Mr. Flash Smart Media Cards - lifetime or 1 year?

I recently received 2 Mr. Flash USA 64MB Smart Media Cards from Newegg.com. The Newegg web site says they have a lifetime warranty. The paperwork in the package says 1 year. Has anyone who purchased these noticed this? Is the Newegg site misleading or is the paperwork wrong?

Just checked the sheet that came with the card. Yup, it says 1 year from purchase.

Can't really say that Newegg is misleading, because the Mr. Flash USA site indicates lifetime:

Thanks. I did not think to check the Mr Flash web site. Looks like the paper is wrong. I just saved the web page showing the lifetime warranty just in case I should ever need it.

I'm wondering about Mr.Flash credibility. I just looked at their site, and you cannot get a link to "Contact Us" or "About Us". How would one question their lifetime warranty if one cannot reach them?

I printed the same thing. for 34.00 you can't go wrong. Even if it only did last a year, it is a great deal!

Never heard of a Mr. Flash SM card. Personally, I would stick with notible memory suppliers that have a track record (e.g. viking, Olympus, Simple Tech, Sandisk, Kingston, etc.). Beware of bargain basement Mr. Nobody invincible claims; or you be had )

Newegg has exorbitant shipping prices. They want a minimum of $5 per item. So, if you order a 2 memory cards plus a reader, you'll play $15 for ground shipping for a 1 lb. package.

They do have exorbitant shipping prices. I live five miles from them and it would cost $10 to ship 2 cards, which you could just as easily slip in an envelope and mail first class postage for 34 cents. But you can't beat the price: $34 for a 64MG card. I paid $100 for a 64MB Oly card when I bought my 2100 last Feb. Of course it was supposed to be free after the rebate, but I still haven't gotten the rebate.

Good reports on this card so far, and aside from the shipping cost, it is still a good deal. If you order three they will ship for $12.95

Prices on memory are dropping like a rock. All kinds of memory. Which is good for all of us. If you have immediate need for more, you can't beat this price. Otherwise sit back and wait for better deals. They will be coming.

Ther is a "contact us" link on the product page.It has several ways to contact them.

Maybe Mr. Flash warrantys them for a year, but Newegg will warranty them for life regardless? Keep us informed if you find anything out.

I just received this from Newegg:

"The site lists that some items may include manufacturer's warranties. This card has a lifetime warranty for exchange on defects through Newegg. "

So as long as Newegg is in business, should be covered. I ordered one 64 meg card $41, and the $4 shipping does not seem high!
