Agree with previous poster: Best fireworks shot I've ever seen bar none.
Didn't take my tripod as I thought it would be a waste of time in
the crowds. 4 sec exposure was achieved with camera sitting on wall
with 'can-of-beer-method' of supporting lens
Beer was put to much better use shortly after this!
... you have done a fabulous job here. I watched the display on TV as the wife and I saw the New Year in with a bottle of champagne. We thought it was one of the most impressive displays we'd ever seen, and your photo does it true justice. Well done. I'm quite sure that this image has commercial potential ... pewrhaps the organisers of the London Olympic bid would be interested in it.
