Has any one use the Kodak SLR/c with an adaptor to other glasses, e.g. Leica or manual Nikon? I'm wondering whether some mode of the metering will still work.

I was looking to purchase the SLR/n, but I understand that if I use manual focus Nikon or other glasses, the metering does not work. I do know that on Canon DSLR body, the metering still work via stop down metering, so I am wondering whether it is the same on SLR/c. If so, I might decides on the SLR/c instead of the SLR/n and get several adaptors instead.

Please also let me know if there may be other features benefit or short falls between SLR/n and SLR/c besides the different lens mount. I heard that the implementation on the mirror lock up is one of the benefit of the c vs n, not sure though.

Thanks!

the c has not 60 seconds longer mode iso 6 and iso12 times. it stops with 30seconds. its not a great miss, cause 60 seconds starts to become worther than 30 seconds.

Make sure that you test or find someone who has tested the adaptor and glass you have in mind.

I was very excited by the idea of using a contax adapter on my SLR/c, but as it turns out some of the lenses dont fit.

I tried an 18mm Contax lens and the rear element projected far enough to snag the mirror.

Luckily I'm now convinced that my Sigma f1.8 is close enough to the Contax 21mm to dissuade me from going down that route.

Compared to the trouble I read about here for the SLR/n, mirror lock-up with the SLR/C is simplicity itself. I use it all the time when the camera is on a tripod.
