FREE Iridius actions - download from Adobe

Adobe has how removed the Download function. Please anyone out there e-mail the action to me: [email protected]

Others have tried to use their CS serial numbers and so far have
had no luck.

BUT... if you enter your PS7 (upgrade or std) serial number, that
seems to work OK.

I don't know about PS 5 or 6.

Is it worth the hassle?

That's up for debate. A lot of the effects can be achieved with
other tools, e.g., Virtual Photographer.

But the price is right.

Your mileage may vary.

Alas, when I contacted Adobe to see why my PSCS number was not being accepted for the download I was told that, because I purchased my copy of the software in the US, I was not eligible for the free Iridius download. If some generous soul out there is willing will to share, I would be forever grateful. Please email: [email protected]

Looks as not correct to me. I also bought my copy of PS in the US and the S/N was accepted without problems.

I have not seen any work posted using these actions. Has anyone actually used them yet? How about a few samples?

No, I'm afraid what I posted is correct--in that I was informed by email from Adobe that the free download was only available to UK customers.

It sure didn't work for me. It never accepted my S/N.

I think you all are mistaken. I was able to use my serial number for PS CS which I purchased directly from Adobe in the US and shipped to Canada. Did you use the last 4 digits like others had mentioned in this thread.

Regardless, I guess it is too late now.......

Yes, I used the last 4 digits. I jumped through all the hoops. My copy was of Creative Suite Premium bought in the US. But I'm not really surprised how this worked out after seeing how well activation has worked......NOT!

I tried to use my serial number from PS 7 as well as CS. No luck.

I didn't say (or intend to say) that it is not correct that you received an e-mail them saying that, I say that it is incorrect that people with a US version cannot download the actions. I received my copy this week from the US and I was able to donwload the actions just fine with the serial number on the CD box. Other US customers were able to download them as well, as you can see elsewhere in this thread.
