I see a few here talking about G6 faster RAW etc. Look, even most SLR shooters don't shoot exclusively RAW. if I was going to shoot RAW with a compact it would be off a tripod, and the write times wouldn't be too much of an issue (i.e., Niagara Falls, or bride&groom AREN'T GOING ANYWHERE anyway) ;-) Here is something I didn't see mentioned... G6 NEEDS RAW more than V3 because it doesn't have live histo preview. If you only have one chance to get it right, and it's important - better shoot RAW with a Canon. ~ m²

--The reviews are in, and the DSC-V3 gets the nod from DP Review over
the G6. I have felt from the start that the V3 was an excellent
camera which did not deserve all the negative posts that it
received. Of course I'm just a novice photographer, so it's nice
to read the review here.
