V3 is tops in DP Review eval

I see a few here talking about G6 faster RAW etc. Look, even most SLR shooters don't shoot exclusively RAW. if I was going to shoot RAW with a compact it would be off a tripod, and the write times wouldn't be too much of an issue (i.e., Niagara Falls, or bride&groom AREN'T GOING ANYWHERE anyway) ;-) Here is something I didn't see mentioned... G6 NEEDS RAW more than V3 because it doesn't have live histo preview. If you only have one chance to get it right, and it's important - better shoot RAW with a Canon. ~ m²
The reviews are in, and the DSC-V3 gets the nod from DP Review over
the G6. I have felt from the start that the V3 was an excellent
camera which did not deserve all the negative posts that it
received. Of course I'm just a novice photographer, so it's nice
to read the review here.

Hi Linda - don't think it has more zoom but definitely more pixels in a tiny case. Looks incredibly small for a high quality 7Mp cam. ~ m²
Bottom line is that I can't seem to find anything much improved
over the V1...
Anyway, suggestions welcome. It's just been hard to beat the V1!
