Shen, I'm not a fashion photographer, but as a consumer I'd suggest removing the blotchiness of the skin in some of the shots.

Nicely done. One contructive tip I would offer is to move your Model away from the background. You have her to close to the background. You want some seperation. Also always remember if the pose is uncomfortable to the model it will look uncomfortable in the picture.
Keep taking pics and lets see more!

Thanks. Will try that next time. Much appreciated.

Thanks. Will try applying a soft layer on top of the skin.

Nice shots. I like your use of color in them.

The Lighting Technique forum is another good place to post these-- the critiques tend to be a little harsh but usually honest and straight forward. As has often been pointed out, fashion photography is one of the most difficult and competitive fields of photography-- so sometimes blunt critiques are the best way to learn. The lighting forum often has these types of photos posted and you're definitely better than many I see there!

Although you will get critiques of your photos here, this is not the best or proper place for posting photos. Post your stuff at PhotoSig.com. There, you'll get more critical review, and, more importantly, you can see how your work stacks up against others. If you don't like PhotoSig, go to the samples and galleries forum.

This is the Canon EOS gear forum. We're more interested in how well our AF works than we are photography.

Thanks for the encouragement. Much appreciated.

Should I post in the Lighting Technique section?

Thanks Frank.

I'll remember that for next time. I just saw others posting some pics from their Canon cameras here, and I just followed suit.

I'll go post in photosig now :)

they eyes are not the priority, but I think there should still be some life there. They shouldn't be the total draw of the image, but I think the images will have more depth for it.

light use of flash to create a reflection in the eyes, or use a reflector from a window source. Probably the direct flash (low power) is easiest.
how should I bring out more life in the eyes (besides sharper eyes)?

Thanks.

Cool. Will try next time with a reflector or low powered flash. Thanks for the tip.
