Does your 20D "PC" wiggle?

Seriously, I just got a pocket wizard system to sync my monolights at weddings, and I noticed when I was inserting the PC cord into my 20D PC connector that the interior connector is loose. It wiggles about!

I was just wondering if they are desigend like that, i.e. everyones is "loose," or mine is shoddy wokmanship and needs to go back before it falls into the body completely!!!!

The outside ring seems tight, but the nub inside that you push the PC cord onto is what's loose.

That's what I was afraid of.

OK, guess it's time to sign up for CPS... (Maybe I should have switched to NIKON!)

You may want to check and make sure your pressing the connector in untill you can fell it snap in place. I thought the same thing ("wiggle") untill I started messing around with it and then it got tight like it's supposed to.

Actually, the problem is that even with the cord not conected, I can wiggle the pin on the camera. i.e. it's loose.

I was just checking here to see if they were all like that, which apparently they're not. :(
