How to make a picture frame and signature?

I was just wondering, does anyone here know how to make a frame for your picture (jpg) and put your name/comments on it ?

something like this:



I have adobe photoshop 7.0 but couldnt find it there.
can i use adobe to create those ?

i dont need a super fancy frames, any basic ones will do...

if someone could teach me how to make the frame, that will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

with PS 7 you can make an action (.atn file) to frame your pictures. Its simple enough to learn how to, although this is not the right place for explanations, it would be too long.
Also, you can download a frame action from the net, there are tons of them.
Personally I find making the action is just so funny.

If you look at your example think of how one could do it. This one looks like it would be easy. You might try to duplicate this frame on one of your images. While your at it record what your doing and you'll have an action to automate the process in the future. So

Start by using the Action pallet menu to create a new action call my web frame.

you may want to then duplicate the image and work on a copy
flatten the copy
Image Size for web height 400
make the background layer a normal layer
add new layer and drag it to the bottom
Make this layer the background Layer> New> Background from layer
Image> Canvas Size check relative enter 2 and 2 select white OK
Image> Canvas Size check relative enter 98 and 98 select Black OK
add new layer
Select all
Edit Stroke Inner 15 pixels white OK
De-select
Add layer style to give frame a shape.
Text tool add text
Action pallet stop recording
