The edge of Eden (pic)

is that you can get a nice pic from either side, lol. From what I could tell, it pretty much looked like Eden on both sides, only on my side, they serve drinks :)

very symbolic and your title is very apt. I guess it depends on
whether you are on the inside looking out or the outside looking
in. Love the simplicity of the shot and the lighting.

It doesn't look much like paradise does it Sue. It's a shame the bad guys have to infiltrate every facet of our life.
Another shot from my Bahamas vacation :)
I couldn't help but see that surrounding all of the most lovely
areas, there was always a considerable stretch of barbed wire woven
through the vegetation. I heard that there used to be a
considerable crime (mostly burglaries) in the tourist areas, but
things were much better in recent years. The remnants of these
barriers seems like such an odd contrast to the serene beauty of
the area. This is an IR image taken near where I stayed. You get
extra points for locating the snail :)

I can't say anything bad about the people I met that live on the island. They seem so much more open and friendly that they are in the states. I don't know if crime was ever a major issue, or if these were preventative measures. Either way... it didn't detract from the experience!
