That is one of the best macro shots I've seen from FZ20.
It would be nicer of the DOF was smaller to blur the background.
But then agan... you can do that in postprocessing too.

I used Auto focus spot, awkwardly hand held using the LCD as the flower is low on the ground and I am always on the lookout for snakes around there.
Thanks, no time for niceties around there, there is a 4 foot red belly black snake that lives around it somewhere, so it's a shoot and get the heck out of there.That is one of the best macro shots I've seen from FZ20.

The colors and sharpness are nice - but I would have liked to see either a more tight crop, or an off-center flower or a darker/blurrier background to make the object stand out more.
