$1300 more and you could get a D2x in 2005 with triple the megapixels. Nikon effectively killed the d2h even though d2h users will proclaim their undying effectiveness of the d2h in the brave new world of megapixels. Sad.

--Amen! I can't wait till D2H will drop price so I can get me one to add to D70.Not everyone need or likes to deal with storing and procesing 12MP pics.4MP of D2h with hands of good photographer better 35mm so it will soon gets to hands of many that stiil hold to F5 F100 do to a fast autofocus and D70 as good it is is still slower than my N90S with same lenses and getting D1h or D2h is personal decision.Next day after D2h new gets to be sold at $1800-2000 it will be in my bag for next 4-6 years along with D70.

I agree with what you say except for the part where 4mp is better than 35mm. It's actually better than medium format.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with the d2h...i have shots that i have had printed up to 20x30 that look fine..why should it always be about mega pixels....if you do not like the d2h just keep it to yourself and shoot with what you use....try a d2h and i know you will like it....i plan on using mine until it completely wears out.....gary

Gee Whizzz.. Why didn't you tell me about that when the DSC760 came out at over $8000.00? I cudda waited four years. Now I am sorry for my silly purchase of the D2h which I have only shot about 40,000 images since May 2004. I really did not need any of those..... they take too much space on on my CD archive.

Is your agenda photographic or political? Do you actually do any photography or do you like just like to talk (nonsense)?

--I really like my D2H! It was my first pro body.... It is no more perfect than all the other cameras that I have owned. I guess there must be something wrong with me that I don;t just toss it out!

yet no photographs. Very consistent with the methods seen lately. Me, I'm gonna lurk and enjoy my wine. Too tired fighting hurricanes to battle trolls.

Is he a troll? Who knows, and I certainly dont care. I think if we dont take the bait, the trolls will disappear. If we dont respond, so will the negative posts.

See a negative post, reply with a photo. Dont acknowlege the post.

Just my wine drinking 2 ounces.

Yep... sorry. Forgot to check the posting history on a negative post.

If you reply to anything on the Nikon forum and the original poster has only been active for less than a month, seems to me that Phil should automatically bring up the posting history just to remind you that this is troll country :-)

I often frequent the Canon forum (I have a bunch of Canon film equipment), and the troll problem is virtually non-existent.
