Just picked up a bargain tip for those of us that don't have Nikon Capture, MacBibble etc.... Graphic Converter opens RAW D1 files. Credit to a poster on the D1discussion list! ;-)

Hi,

Effectively but this is not new to any D1 owner using NEF format,
Bibble and MacBibble are programs wrote specialy for the purpose
of converting Nikon D1 files. It even became the reference since the
first version was updated to users requirements and demands by Eric.

It can be found at http://www.bibblelabs.com
If you need more info about it look at
http://www.outbackphoto.com/reviews/tools/Bibble.html

I am using it almost on daily basis and have to admit that without
this piece of SW the D1 is not really a good digital camera (for my use).

Download a trial version and have a test, it's the best way to be convinced.

Have fun
Luc

Nb :
You can also use Qimage another very usefull tools able to convert D1 Files
can be found at :
