This temple is just some 10 mins walk from home, on a hill called Tsu-San-Yan in Taipei City. Playground of our neighbors. This temple was where I looked for water when thirsty after exhausting hide-n-seek or the like. I included the square to 1/2 of framing coz there used to be a turtle pool, where kids enjoyed their times.

Any picture of your childhood playground?

Wow! The carvings is just amazing!

I would want to see a colored version of this since I love the colors they use in chinese art. Green, red and gold I think?

In any case, what a wonderful playground, sure beats the concrete backyard we have when I grew up! :-D

Hello Petra,

Here is a pic of a Chinese Temple in my hometown, Penang in Malaysia. The other pic shows one of the temple's side doors. Both pics taken with Fuji FinePix 40i.

Thank you Charles! :-D

I'm so in love with the colors and the detailed designs. I could explore them for years if I was able to. Now I have to settle with pictures like yours.

Warmest regards,
Petra
