At a bigger price though. Besides - these little gems are not the
mechanical beasts of yesteryear.
Start saving your film and proccessing costs now! When a pro one
ever comes out - buy it and move your current one to spare body in
case you have a technical problem on your main one.
In film days - if I cared about what I was shooting - I always
brought along my old body.
Canon also purposely has always stated this isn't a "pro" camera
clearly indicating to this "seer" that the are really saying - the
pro camera is gonna cost a lot more. And as long as the
competition is up their, why not.
There is always someone who can't afford the D50 or whatever it
will be called so buy the D30, start enjoying it, and sell it off
and upgrade to the D50. The 500 you lose if you lose that much
look at as a rental. If you shoot over 30 rolls of film on the
D30, your're ahead of the game.
you will actually shoot far more pictures once you make the switch
since you never even think about cost anymore. It's a real riot.
I haven't had this much fun in years with photography.
