--I've just had my 20D for a few days and am very happy with it, it
replaced my D60. One thing I noted was that the On/Off switch on
the back of my 20D has not just two position i.e. just On/Off but
there is a middle position. I've looked through the manual but
could not find anything related to this middle position on this
switch, somehow maybe I have missed it.

On some cameras the middle position is "timer off" and camera will shut down after certain period (programmable)--I've just had my 20D for a few days and am very happy with it, it
