Are you satisfied with your focus on 20D? - Survey!

Set up on my tripod. Use the center focusing point. Use a stack of books instead of Rule test. Trigger with the sef-timer. Photos turn out to be right on. I like my 20D after using 300D for a while: Fast turning-on, fast shotting, writing, and reviewing. The noise is about one stop better. Have not experienced lock-up. Totally satifacted!

Just got my 70-200 f2.8 IS ups late this afternoon, after just a dozen shots or so walking up and down the street in evening daylight conditions I can definitely say i am extremely satisfied with the focus. one shot of a moving dog slightly soft - all others tack sharp at f2.8 to f11 and at much slower speeds that i could ever shoot with the old f4. There is no comparison with the 10d. What a relief to have equipment that can be counted on.

I think the soft images in the gym were a result of a bad lens for the job and really tough conditions.

I can also say now after using a new (used) 28-135 IS, and this new 70-200 2.8 IS that our old 28-135 IS had a nonfunctioning IS. I always suspected that, but had nothing to compare it to.

I for one, look forward to you views after some more use ;-)
