I think the rules should be changed for the next day anyway. So
many people were sick, the weather was diabolical, working etc etc
on trhe 21st it would be sensible to have pics taken, say, up to a
week before.
In each instance the poster has been honest about it. They could
have changed the clock on their camera and not told anybody!
Just trying to bring a sense of perspective into what really is not
a heinous crime!

I have not come across anyone who has said this but I'd kick up the
most unholy row.
Kinda' ticked me off. We all have shots that
we have taken at other times and they ma be stunningly better than
the ones we shot on the E10 deadline, but that was the whole
purpose for E10 Day or I misunderstood the concept huh? There, I
