Appreciate the link. I watched enough to know that I don't want to tear mine down. As you say, it won't affect the photos so I think I'll live with it :)
Thanks for this. I don't think this would be an easy process to remove the top plate. If it's not mould (and therefore unlikely to spread) I think I'll leave it.
I'm asking for some helping in identifying this haze in the viewfinder of a new (to me) Nikon L35 AD. Is this haze cause by mould? Or is it something else?
Grateful for any insights.
I'll give this a try. The only other solution I've found is to half press while pointing at a bright light source, then recomposing. This seems to work as long as the focal distances on both compositions are similar.
A week ago I picked up an untested Nikon L35AD. Now I've got two rolls back from it, I'm impressed with this compact camera. I didn't have high expectations for the autofocus but it's been very reliable. The only criticisms so far are that there's no aperture-priority mode and no way of turning...

Thanks. I have an action set up in Photoshop that does a B&W conversion with low values on the red channel and moderate on both blue and green channels (about 50 on each channel, from memory).
I have a few 3m wide prints from my D810 (36mp) and they really are incredible to view up close. The images were shot on the 50mm f1.8G - not renowned for being incredibly sharp. I’m quite curious to see how the lower resolution Zf files compare, given the Z lenses are sharper.
The B&W files...
I have definitely had to adjust my hand position, depending on the lens. Shooting with your two bodies, which screen type do you prefer? I’ve found myself missing the Z7 screen for shooting low. To do the same with the Zf is more cumbersome.
I’m sharing some thoughts on the Nikon Zf as a travel camera after spending some time in France with it as my main camera. The Zf is new to me, so I was learning the camera as I travelled. In terms of the handling, there has been an adjustment phase. Prior to this I was primarily shooting on the...
