The bright one is the frame at infinity focus, and the other one is at minimum focusing distance. Somewhere in between is your real framing, but since the lens doesn't transmit distance information it can't show like it does with Fuji lenses.
I don't own the #2 yet, but the X-Pro 1 has a setting for adapted lenses where you manually enter the focal length of the lens you are mounting. Then you will get a correct large or small frameline in the OVF, albeit not auto-adjusting for parallax (since it can't know the distance). It will...

That particular shot to me is almost perfect, maybe a little less harsh shadow in her cleavage would have been my preference. But that's a very minor niggle.
